Family Petition for Permanent Residence by U.S. Citizens

You may petition certain members of your family to receive a Green Card, a fiancé(e) visa or a K-3/K-4 visa. To apply for Permanent Residence for a family member, you must present proof of your citizenship as well as documentation proving your relationship to the petitioner in question. Direct family members include:

• Spouse
• Children – unmarried children and under 21 years of age; or married and/or over 21 years of age
• Step children – unmarried children and under 21 years of age
• Fiancé and the children of your fiancé
• Parents
• Siblings
